What if darkness isn’t frightening, but something beautiful, fertile, mysterious and necessary? 

A place where life rests before it begins again?

What if the journey is not about finding light in the darkness, but seeing the beauty of it?

What if darkness is a light that cannot be seen yet makes seeing possible?

This second edition of Between Earth & Sky will take you through an exploration of these questions.

Based on Persian mythology and Sufism, we will guide you from beginning to end through a discovery of what your relationship to the truthful darkness may be and what it could become.

This is a guided movement meditation to LIVE music.

It is a journey, through body memory, to awaken intuitive movement, focusing it into pure presence and deep listening. To give space to the guidance of your body and initiate the fall of walls that may have been built up against trusting yourself.

Everything is done with eyes closed.
If you find this difficult, you should bring a scarf / sleeping mask that you can use to cover your eyes.

How you look and your ability to see, is irrelevant.

This practice is about feeling, moving, listening inwards. The workings of the mind can therefore be silenced during the process.

We begin and end lying down. To close off the session, we have the time where anyone who wants to share anything from their experience will have the space to speak. This is not mandatory.

No dance or movement experience necessary.

Sometimes the body understands what the mind could not.
